can't we do a happy musical next time?

Greetings from the green room of Urinetown: The Musical. Since I'm not in Act 2 at all, I have the green room all to myself at the moment. Opening night has been fun so far; nice, appreciative audience. And no one was naked, and I was even pretty pleased with all the costumes. :) Eventually I'll take pictures and post them.

Oh, I just heard from [livejournal.com profile] asiansquishie that apparently her suspenders came off in the last dance number, but luckily her pants stayed up. (And given her pants' general tendency to flee her body whenever possible, that's seriously impressive.)

I've been catching up with the flist in fits and spurts, but we have no internet where we're staying right now so I don't get much time online. We leave Boston on Monday the 6th and should be back in sunny SoCal by the weekend, yay! I'm definitely ready to go home. *misses the sun*

Also, Skating With Celebrities is GOLD, but they need to fire whoever makes the costumes. For serious.

Girlie, I'ma beatchoo if you don't call me or email me soon. Times a tickin' and we've none to waste. Though the fact that you'll be going back to SoCal is comforting since I'll be in the SF area next year. Same side of the continent facilitates visitation, but none the less! Contact, or else! Rar!

I know I know! I'm so sorry! This show just sucked away every second of my free time, plus I have no Internet where I'm staying. :( But now the show is open and we can make plans for this week and maybe you can come see my show! Or something. Anyway, I will email you tomorrow during the second act (don't have the laptop with me today, using someone else's very quickly) and we will make plans. Promise promise!!!

And yay for San Francisco! My in-laws are all in the Modesto area so we're up in that general area a few times a year.
