I really wanted to go while I was home. The Southern Cal Ren faire is/was my very first faire (though it is a different site now,) and the one that made me fall in love with Ren faires, but alas it was not in the cards for me. :( Hair braiding is an absolute MUST when you go. I get it done every single time and it spoils the entire day for me if they don't have a braider.
