I remember when I used to read actual books

It never fails-- I go through my day thinking "I should post this to lj, I should post that to lj" and then I get home and can't remember what the hell I was going to post.

So have some fic recs:

SGA; Ronon and Rodney mostly, with some team stuff

The Making of an Emperor, on the TFN boards
Star Wars: Legacy of the Force and Star Wars: Legacy (seriously, they've got to come up with better names for these things)
OMG YOU GUYS. It's a Jaina-and-Jag-restart-the-Empire fic that doesn't make me want to claw my eyes out! I've been wanting one of those since I first read Legacy. It's not high art, or anything, but compared to the general level of SW fic it's very passable. (Why does most EU fic suck so badly? Why?)

I love Barney/Robin like I love cake. And I *love* cake. Why isn't there more fic??

And I'm with you. I rarely look at SW fanfic, anymore. It's just too painful for me.

except that I have a hard time wrapping my head around Barney being that depressed, I liked the Bromania fic! and generally I hate fic....
