Long day. I feel like a housewife, only more annoyed because I have to wake up tomorrow and do homework. It's good though...doing homework with friends means I'll actually get it done in plenty of time to turn it in.

Rogue made a turkey yesterday (we'll be at a restaurant with his relatives for Thanksgiving, so we made our own turkey a bit early) and today I tried making turkey stock in the crock-pot, from what was left after the meat got carved off. It seems to have gone all right; I guess I'll find out when I actually try using the stock. Mmmm, turkey noodle soup. And I did laundry. Turkey stock and piles of laundry. And dishes. And Pride and Prejudice, all the way through. Mmmm, Colin Firth. I also got a start on Debby's hobbit chemise, but there's still plenty more to be done. I wanted to have a mockup of the bodice ready by Saturday so I could fit her for it...but it can probably wait. Or I could maybe do it Sunday, if we go up there.

Oy. Sleepy. Clean sheets beckon. Mmmmm.

And strangely enough, so did I! I didn't have time for the whole thing, so I watched the second disk and skimmed through the Mr. Collins parts.

I'm going to blame the coincidence on all those "Love Actually" ads on TV. Seeing a dancing Colin Firth made me crave P&P. Yeah, that's it. ;)
