we have entered bizarro-world

What kind of world is it where my dentist appointment today was *less* painful than Tuesday's Gilmore Girls episode? I mean, honestly. (Only one teeny cavity that I'm getting filled Tuesday! Hurray for my teeth!)

Also, Jericho is really a terrible show. And yet I cannot stop watching it. Hmmm.

Oh and! Dies the Fire finally arrived from Amazon, so I can be all-apocalypse, all the time! Hurray!

ETA: Apparently, Dark Angel S2 actually is good for something! [livejournal.com profile] sirrogue just saw a Supernatural promo, and the following ensued:
Him: "Oh hey! Now I know who the other guy from Supernatural is!"
Me: "Yes, it's Dean and Alec. Except Dean isn't Dean, Alec is Dean."
Him: "Then who's Dean?"
Me: "Dean is Sam."
Him: "Who the hell is Sam?"

And I-don't-know's on third, so there.

I've had a very similar conversation with my brother, using the names, Eric and Dean, from Days of our Lives and Gilmore Girls. However, on Days, Eric was Sami's brother, which just complicated things with Supernatural Sam... I still have to think twice about which one is Dean.

I've figured out what we've lost on Gilmore Girls: the fast dialogue.

Everything moves at a glacier's pace, now. It has turned into a regular ol' drama set in a quirky town. Their scripts are probably regular size, now.

Although the bright spot of the episode was Kirk opening Kirk's. I LOVE Kirk!

Still. I'm sad that it's going to end on such a stinker note. Why couldn't they let the vision be taken to the end by its creators?!
