Even though we've got the DVDs...and I've watched the pilot multiple times recently...I still grinned all stupid when I turned on Sci-Fi and Firefly was on.

I sang along with the theme song, too.

(And now I have wine and cheese and Australian red licorice. Mmmm. Life looks decidedly better.)

The international Serenity trailer is finally up, here. It's *awesome,* much better than the first one IMO. It doesn't reference Joss or Buffy at all, which is good, because we don't want to alienate newbies. (ETA: my bad, apparently it does mention Buffy near the end and I just missed it the first three times I watched the trailer. But it's not as prominent as it was in the first trailer.) Also, it's funnier. I think it's a better representation of the movie overall.

In other news, whilst in the parking lot of the wretched hive of scum and villainy (aka Wal-Mart) last night, I saw a license plate that amused:

(I'm very easy to spot-- I'm the one in the Zoe costume.) sirrogue can also be seen and heard offering Joss an extra birthday hat.

Whee! If only I hadn't been holding my stupid purse, I would have looked soooo much cooler...
