Even though we've got the DVDs...and I've watched the pilot multiple times recently...I still grinned all stupid when I turned on Sci-Fi and Firefly was on.

I sang along with the theme song, too.

(And now I have wine and cheese and Australian red licorice. Mmmm. Life looks decidedly better.)

Just want to say thanks for putting me on the road to Firefly. I just bought it last week, and I've two episodes left to watch. How did this ever get cancelled? It's funny, and not too sci-fi-y to scare away the non-geek crowd.

Yay! I'm so glad you're enjoying it.

As for why it was cancelled, it was a lovely combination of Fox airing the episodes completely out of order and having absolutely no idea how to promote the show properly. Hell, even the Sci-Fi Channel is doing a better job with promoting it (they've just started rerunning it), which tells you something.

My eldest downloaded the international "Serenity" trailer, which has some clips that are different from the US release. Hmm, I'll have to get the link from him. For those of us who weren't able to attend a screening........ Sept 30 is looking pretty good.
