I CAN'T EVEN PROCESS THIS YOU GUYS. I just...it's hard to explain if you've never fallen in love with a soap couple. I've been shipping these characters since 1997. That's literally half my life. It's close to half of *their* lives. Soaps have a lot of issues (shit, I haven't even watched Days regularly since 2004 because I couldn't stand it), but they are unrivaled in the amount of history that can be brought to a single scene, just because their characters have been on for *so long*-- it's amazing.

I honestly thought I had this out of my system. Like I said, I haven't even watched since 2004. But then I watched today's show (and Monday's, since they air a day ahead in Canada and the Canadians are a kind and generous people) and I wanted to hop up and down with how excited and happy and thrilled I was. Seriously, in just these two days, we've gotten more than we used to get in *years.*

So basically, HEARTS. HEARTS IN MY EYES.

Home from Celebration V, which was ~AMAZING.~ I was working the Digital Stage and we had some awesome programming-- now I want to go back and watch Clone Wars, and TFU2 and TOR look amazing even though I don't game, and I got the TFU1 novelization at the 501st party, and WHERE IS THE TFU FIC!? I WANTS IT.

Ohgod so sleepy.

You guys, I think I may need some sort of Disney intervention, because I am watching The Princess and the Frog for the fourth time in as many days and Rogue keeps asking me when we can send it back to Netflix and I keep being like NO! MINE! NO TOUCHY! I can't believe I didn't go to see this in the theater. I should've gone opening night, dressed up like a princess.

(I may or may not also be trying to figure out how I can make one of Charlotte's huge floofy pink dresses such that it fits into my D*C luggage. Charloooooootttte.)

Yay, we finished House S3 last night! Disc 1 of S4 arrives tonight, hopefully. Must...catch...up!!!

Rogue had a revelation while we were watching last night, and I still can't stop giggling about it: Wilson on speed = Rodney McKay, y/y? Seriously, close your eyes and just listen; it sounds exactly like him. ...okay, this would be way more effective if I could actually find a clip that didn't involve weird music-vid-ness, but trust me. It's awesome.

Also, "Airborne" (the episode, not the fake medicine) still rules my life. ILU, bottle episodes! I even went and found last week's Bones online because it was also an episode set on an airplane, and really, you can't go wrong with those. Any other recs for episodes set on airplanes (or any enclosed space, really)? Doesn't need to be a show I watch.

I really need some new icons.

CURSE YOU raykel!!! I have so much SDCC sewing to do and now I'm freaking obsessed with Danny Phantom and it is ALL YOUR FAULT. (Finished the series today. Wah.) PLEASE SEND HELP. OR SEMI-DECENT FIC.

The Avatar obsession is growing exponentially. I am beginning to worry a little. Note to self: you do not have to read bad fanfic just because it's there. It's okay to close the window and walk away.

Having fallen *hard* for the Sarah Connor Chronicles (I, er, might have a slight Derek Reese problem. I blame morwen_peredhil), sirrogue decided it was high time I actually watched Terminator 2, since I'd never actually seen any of the movies before. So I did.

And here is my reaction:

In San Jose, la, for the next-to-last of my conferences for the time being. Phew. There's a jazz festival going on across the street and it's really *quite* loud.

We saw Stardust again last night and it was just as wonderful the second time 'round, and I picked up on some more costume details. And on Friday night I put on discs 2 and 3 of 10th Kingdom because I needed something fairy-tale-ish so badly. Why aren't there more fairy tales for grownups? I'm craving them, all of a sudden. Anyone got any suggestions besides those two and Princess Bride? (Stardust even has a horrid pop song over the credits like Princess Bride! It's crazy!)

I also read the Stardust novella, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The book and the movie might seem rather different, but really it's just the same story told two different ways. Like if an MTG story was told once, and then you came back five years later and heard Jamez telling it again.

So okay, I had gotten the first Republic Commando book (Hard Contact) off paperbackswap, and I finally got time to read, and and so-- fangirl, me, yes. Want next one NOW. Gimme gimme gimme. I have no shame.
