Eeeee! My iPod is here, *finally*!!! It was actually here on Friday, but through a series of annoying mishaps, it wasn't delivered till today. But now I has it! XD

I have christened her Cameron, because I name my iPods after robot ladies. (My old (STOLEN! GRR!) one was Lizzie, aka Repli-Weir.) She is an 8GB 3rd gen Nano, and she is tiny and pretty and blue. :D :D :D

And we caught up on HIMYM and I just about died of laughter at the tag for "Little Minnesota." Let's go to the mall, everybody! Now we just have to get through the SCC and Pushing Daisies on the TiVo and we will be CAUGHT UP! Woo!

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes, everyone! I had a marvelous birthday-- sirrogue took me to yummy yummy dinner at Outback, and then I bought myself Order 66 and read for the rest of the evening. Because nothing says birthday like characters dying! (This is not a spoiler. I haven't finished it yet. I'm just saying, it's Order 66, not The Fluffy Happy Sparkly Clones and Jedi Party. No one is going to fake their death-by-melting and then secretly escape Oz Coruscant. Probably. You never do know with Karen Traviss.)

Also, Rogue bought me book 4 of Dresden Files and S1 of Sarah Connor Chronicles, so I'm pretty set, fictionally speaking.

Okay, apparently I did get this done tonight! I had a fantastic Comic-Con this year. For one, my dad qui_gon_d and my brother dmbtuxwaddle came to stay with us and go to the con from Wednesday through Saturday. And they costumed! Pictorial evidence is in the report. :) For another, even though it was crowded (and oh, was it ever crowded), I got into almost everything I wanted to see and wasn't really disappointed by any of it, and the volunteers/staff generally did a good job of packing the rooms as full as possible. Line management could still be better, but it's improving every year.

The Avatar obsession is growing exponentially. I am beginning to worry a little. Note to self: you do not have to read bad fanfic just because it's there. It's okay to close the window and walk away.

Having fallen *hard* for the Sarah Connor Chronicles (I, er, might have a slight Derek Reese problem. I blame morwen_peredhil), sirrogue decided it was high time I actually watched Terminator 2, since I'd never actually seen any of the movies before. So I did.
