Home from Jadecon. I don't wanna go back to real life. I want to stay in the suite with everyone forever. :( :( :(

Longer post coming later. We made fun of Twilight repeatedly and at length, and watched snarked lots of Olympics, and we had a Project Runway for 12" vinyl men. (Seriously you guys, it was amazing.) And lots of other stuff besides. Really really nice con. Smaller than usual, and many were missed, but still fun.

D*C in two weeks. Oh holy crap I have so much to do, and I keep thinking of new things to add. Because I'm CRAZY.

Home from GenCon. Happy. Exhausted. The Vegas airport is many, many kinds of smelly and our connection was delayed so we had to be there for a long time. The cat hid from us when we got home and we looked for her for 20 minutes and then suddenly she was just sitting on the bed.

I have to go to work in seven hours. Damn those Harry Potter plagiarists! This is all their fault.

We're off! sirrogue and I are headed to lovely Indianapolis for GenCon/JadeCon, YAY!!! jawajames, bless his heart, will be picking us up to take us to the airport any minute now. I'm not actually taking my laptop, though (GASP!), so don't get into any trouble while I'm gone, hear? CJers and puzzle/gaming types on the flist who are going, see you shortly! Wheeeeee!

Ouch, we got ripped apart in the Brandeis school paper. Well, any publicity, right? Especially since the Tech has their stupid vendetta going and won't review us.

On the plus side, Club Jade came tonight, and it was awesome. It was just amazing that so many people came from so far away to see us. I love you ALL! Also my mom and brother came, yay! And Thanksgiving is soon so I get to see them again.

One more show, and then it's all over! I wonder what it will be like to have free time again.

raykel, it is entirely your fault that whenever "Chapel of Love" comes on my playlist I'm struck with the irresistable urge to watch the Phantom Wedding video. So I am. Because my will is weak.

ETA: I can't believe I forgot about singing the Strong Bad Techno song with a bunch of our guests on Saturday night! We had all the parts going, it was totally awesome.

Sad because GenCon/JadeCon is over and post-con depression has set in. It was so much FUN this year! *loves on CJers*

Happy though because I got to watch both Atlantis and BSG and yaaaaaaay, ships! I'm definitely not rewatching the shippy bits at all right now. No way. Of course not. Why would I do that?

I need BSG fic like whoa.

I don't get to see Sci-Fi Friday until Sunday night and there are NO WORDS for how much I want to see the Atlantis episode. OMG SO MUCH.

Also I am maybe a little tipsy OMG I love GenCon and JadeCon and I love ALL my friends YAY!

Even if you have no idea what a Jadecon is, or why on earth I should go, you should go look at the pics. Cause they're cool. And my Tarts and Jedi outfit kicks ass.

Also, I remembered that lemurtanis should be auditioning tonight, but I'm not so sure she'd let me hug her. Bonk said that if anyone I hug says "Bad touch!" then I have to let go. *heavy sigh*

It's quite disconcerting to stain a gel by nuking it for 30 seconds in a regular kitchen microwave on a lab bench, then go to the cafeteria and warm up some pizza for lunch in a microwave that looks essentially the same.
