Awhile back over on journalfen, barbie_plath made some awesome fandom_wank slogan icons. After Alice passed around the list of SWME quotes she compiled, I thought, "It would be fun to do some icons for us like that." True to form, it took me months to actually get around to doing it. But today I did. :) Feel free to yoink, no need to credit me (but crediting barbie_plath for the original idea would be good).

ETA- if I missed any quotes that you'd like to see on an icon, lemme know and I'll make 'em.

Hee! Yes, you do need to see our show. *G* We're doing it in Boston in the fall; no other plans yet. We did get to take it to Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis, so who knows, maybe we'll get to do another con someday.

Which font-- the Star Wars one? It's called "Star Jedi" and I got it from dafont.com. (The "Musical Edition" font is just Times New Roman, and the text font is Silkscreen, also from dafont.)

If by years back you mean 2003, then yes, it is (http://web.mit.edu/mtg/www/2003/IAP/Photos.html). If you mean the one from back in 1996 or so in California, then no, that was a completely different group.

Thanks. :) We're very leery of selling stuff to the general public due to all those pesky copyright laws. Lucasfilm's been super-awesome about all of this so far, and we don't want them to be mad at us!

Looks like everyone is slowly but surely picking up the icon with their signature quote. We should get t-shirts with the Star Wars: Musical Edition logo on the front and our catchphrase of choice across the back. C'mon...you know that would be awesome.

Of course, I still adore _opus_'s Death Star Assault Medley t-shirt: "It's not over til the dead Jedi sings!"
