Hrm...meant to update a few times this week, but didn't get around to it really. So...

Thanksgiving: way fun. I love my family, and it was great to hang out with them. Highlights included Katie, the responsible one, cursing in front of *all* of the cousins, and Brianne declaring "I am not a lesbian!" while complaining that her brother never brought over any of his cute friends.

We headed down to NY right away, found Xeith's with no problems this time, hallelujah. The Farscape Con was pretty fun. Awfully expensive, but we did have a good time. Rogue got to be in a Farscape skit, and his group won (of course they won, they were the only group with a real actor in it), and he got some cool stuff for it. We got everyone's autograph, and I bought frames at Target yesterday so I can put the signed glossies on my walls. Listening to the actors talk was a real trip. Virginia was sweet and bubbly as always, Wayne and Anthony were freaking hiliarous (Anthony does the *best* impressions!), Claudia was lovely and very heartfelt, and I want to be Gigi when I don't grow up. I wish there had been a way to shorten the autograph lines, but with the number of people there, it was really unavoidable. I loved watching all the fan-created music videos. Some of them were really funny, and some were really touching.

On Saturday, Xeith and I snuck out of the con long enough to subway over to TKTS and snag half-price tickets for that night's performance of Into the Woods (Rogue stayed, rehearsing his skit). We even got to get Claudia's autograph early so we could get to the theater on time! The show was awesome; Milky White was hilarious, and it was interesting seeing a different take on some of the characters. I still don't understand why Little Red was wearing a fishnet sweater in the second act, though.

Right after the show, we started the drive home (since the roads would be jammed on Sunday) and got home around 3 am. Star Wars auditions started Sunday and continued through Monday; in all we had 25 people audition during those 2 days and an additional 4 before callbacks on Wednesday. And I was able to get every one of them measured! Yay! The casting turned out really well; this show is gonna rock. And [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is Leia! Yay! And now I have 28 people to costume. Um...yikes?

Our Save Farscape cookbook arrived yesterday, so after a fifteen-minute search for lemon juice at ghetto Stah, we made Mom Crichton's Chicken Casserole. (I got into a disagreement with our cheese grater while making said casserole. It won. *holds up finger with Lilo&Stitch bandaid*) But the casserole was yummy. Next time I'll read the instructions properly and not put the breadcrumbs in with the wet ingredients.

Also, picked up our 3 rolls of photos at Tar-jet. One of them was pics of Steve's from a year and a half ago! (Yikes.) But the other 2 were King Richard's Faire, Halloween, High Society, and the LOTR screening pics. They aren't the greatest, but they're better than nothing. Once we get the chance Rogue or I will scan them in and pop 'em up on the web.

My fabric for my rainbow dress arrived. It's pretty. :) Hope I can finish by Tuesday!

(Roger, you must be really bored if you want to read stuff like this. ;-) )
