Whee-fun party at Jax and Jamez's yesterday. Talked with lots of people, had my face measured, wore a red wax 'clown nose,' and ate scrambled emu egg.

Also first budgetary triumph for the costume crew: 29 yards of Jawa-robe fabric at 99 cents a yard.

Going back a week and a half, Rogue and I spent NYE at Steve and ML's, with Kimmerie and Brian as well. The six of us had a delightful time, eating a 'traditional' Southern NYE dinner and then chatting afterwards. We were so deep in conversation that we completely missed midnight. Oh well. We were supposed to have hung out with Dan and Cinda, but it didn't end up working out. But that was OK cause we went over to the Cambridge Schoolbook Depository the next day (or was it the day after?) to play games with Dan, Cinda, and Bonk. Dan very nearly won Harry Potter trivia. Scary. ;-)

Off to skating now. Then swimming with Amy, then some bits of rehearsal. And always more costume planning.
