I really hate it when I'm very very tired, but my head is so full of so many thinks that I can't fall asleep. Such is the case now. Grumble grumble waaaaaah.

So I've sorta kinda gotten into Babylon 5 lately. Rogue borrowed the Season 1 DVDs from Jamez a couple months ago, and he watched them all; I watched a few with him. Then we borrowed the Season 2 DVDs after we got back from GC, and this time I watched more eps. We're one episode from the end of Season 2, now.

My opinion? It's not so bad. Lots with the talky and the philosophy and the religious beliefs and the politics and such, but after we finished an ep the other night, I wanted to watch another one. But it's nowhere near the usual frenzy I experience when I get into a new TV show/movie/book series and have to have MORE MORE MORE NOW NOW NOW. (Witness the start of my Farscape addiction this time last year.) It's kind of refreshing, to be a casual fan of something. And as has happened to me many times of late, I found myself paying more attention to costumes and makeup (and lighting, actually-- they have lots of interesting lighting) than to plot. I concluded that Delenn's S2 getup would make a really nice female Jedi variation, if the colors were toned down a bit. And the uniforms aren't the greatest, but they could certainly be worse (*coughStarTrekcough*), and I like their collars a lot, and why does Sheridan's collar lap one way and Ivanova's the other?

These are the deep thoughts I have when I watch TV shows. ;)
