I am having so much fun in my jazz class! It's a really good mix of ages, abilities, and people, such that I am neither the best nor worst, oldest or youngest, thinnest or fattest, or even the most socially awkward. And the teacher is great! So far, community college dance classes are looking like a most excellent bargain. I've decided to go for intermediate tap instead of beginning for the spring, because I asked my teacher and she basically said that if you know any tap at all, take intermediate. So I have to remember to change my registration online.

Also, I might have made a friend in my class! This is very exciting because I basically have no friends here. (After three years, I know, isn't that pathetic?)

ALSO! There was ICE ON THE GROUND when I got to work this morning. In SAN DIEGO. This is NOT ON. *glares at the sky*

We've had tons of ice here too in the Bay Area. Not quite normal for us either. I have had these beautiful potted plants for about 10 years and all the cold weather has just about killed them :( They are some kind of floral vine and I am going to have to totally clip them back and regrow them now.

Your dance classes sound fun. I really should do the same thing, but making time for it has always been my problem. I'd always loved tap! Have fun!

HEY! If your avatar is a screen cap of "Newsies" my brother was in that film! He played "specs" Although I think most of his speaking parts ended up on the cutting room floor, he was in several dance scenes.
