Jumpin' Jeebus on a pogo stick, it is really, really, really hot. Apparently it got up to 100 here today. That is INSANE. The reason I live near the coast so this sort of thing doesn't happen!

Hey, you know what's really fun to do when it's sweltering hot? Sew things in the upstairs room of your un-airconditioned apartment, and then iron them! I am so jumping in the pool when I reach a stopping point...

Well, as long as it doesn't do this again over SDCC weekend, right?

I feel your pain. It was over 100 here today too and I was stuck in my a/c-less house sewing a bridal gown at my kitchen table.

This is possibly the hottest it's been in the 5 years we've lived here. It usually gets really hot (high 90s) for only a few days each summer, so let's hope this is it. Usually it happens in August or September though-- this is really early.
