Long, fabulous weekend-- too long to post about now. But! We were able to briefly visit with Dan and Wee Cordelia (and Dan's mom and Wayne) this evening, and we took a few pictures.

This is basically what I did for the whole visit. BABY SO CUTE.



Coco wishes the humans would pay attention to him, and not the mysterious noisemaking bundle.

She really is! Totally precious. Amazing how you can be mesmerized for so long by a baby that's not actually *doing* anything!

Yeah, Coco is not super excited about it all. And kind of confused. I gave him some snuggles while I was there. :)

Poor Coco. I would have played with him. (Sorry, babies really do nothing for me. I think I've held one in the past ten years or so and I wasn't sure what to do with the head. I appreciate that the species must reproduce, but I really don't know what to do with the results until they're mobile and talking. And then they need to learn to be quiet really fast.)

Well, I'm tired of being expected to coo over babies just because I like their parents. They do in fact all look alike to me, including pictures of my brother and me when we were only a few weeks old. And holding them makes me nervous. They seem breakable.
