Reason #438 why the Student Center post office sucks:
As I approached the door with a *huge,* rather weighty box in my arms, I saw that there was a man about to leave. So I stood a little out of the way so he could open the door and hopefully hold it for me. What does he do instead? He fakes like he's going to open the door-- TWICE-- with a SMILE on his face-- and then finally deigns to open the door. And then has the gall to ask, "Oh, can I help you with that?" Hello, ASS, why couldn't you just open the door in the first place instead of trying to be funny?
Reason #439 why the Student Center post office sucks:
So I get in there, with my huge box, 20x20x20 inches. I need to mail it to Canada. This should be no problem, as I have checked online, and the website has assured me that the only limitation for airmail parcel post is that the maximum girth plus length cannot exceed 108". No problem, right? Girth = 80", Length = 20", so girth + length = 100". Well, apparently not, because the two workers said "oh no, that's too big! Sorry!" The guy even got out his tape measure and did some mumbo jumbo. Now, either the website is lying, or they're lying, but either way, I am PISSED OFF. And I had to turn around and haul the big-ass box back up to the office.
