I always want to make costumes from my favorite shows but I can never figure out how to make the character recognizable if they're in a modern day show. But the Penny costume looks great and is totally recognizable. Yay you for picking the good costumes!
It would be awesome to get together and sew! Sewing party ftw! However I really wouldn't recommend coming over here until things calm down unless you want to talk to reporters and avoid crime scene tape. Personally, I'm still a bit freaked out - hence the crazy focused sewing - so I would understand not wanting to come over here at all...ever... O.o Maybe next weekend? And really by weekend I mean Friday or Saturday.
