something familiar, something peculiar

Dude, even in my *dreams* I can't get away from this show. First I dreamed that Allison and I became stepsisters (WTF?) and became the subjects of a reality TV show about blended families (no, really, WTF?). Then I had a completely separate dream where ML and I were going to a spa because she was all stressed about the show and the fact that Jax wanted to have Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett sell cotton candy at intermission. Why is my brain only this creative when I'm asleep?

And I completely crashed at 9:30 pm, only to wake up fully rested at 2 am. Probably a consequence of my weird-ass sleeping schedule of late. (But 14 hours of sleep on Saturday felt SO GOOD!) I have work tomorrow though, so I should probably try to get back to sleep. Clearly the solution is to read fanfic until I'm exhausted.

As for the show-- yeah, it's pretty good. I'm proud of us. I just want to take care of some fiddly costume bits that I didn't get a chance to fix before opening, and then I'll be unreservedly proud of us.

It's been at least a solid two weeks since I've had a dream that didn't involve SWT:ME somehow. I think last night's revolved around moving into an apartment with like 5 cast members. And everytime I'd wake up and try going back to sleep, something was forcing me to run through all of my quick changes in my head before I was actually out.

Last night I dreamt that I was going somewhere and there was a wookie hotel. Because apparently wookies like to sleep with lots of noise in my dreamworld, so they have special hotels that play wookie bellows all night so the wookies can sleep.

On another note, it was very strange to get home before eight today... I have time to do work and stuff! Weird.
