In my shoulder bag (where I put all the stuff I can't fit into my purse), I currently have:

1 pair 3-D glasses
1 umbrella
2 notebooks
1 clean cloth diaper, green (wendyhouse, please remind me to give this back to you)
1 skein red acrylic yarn
1 uninflated dinosaur beach ball
1 crocheted pineapple leaf, left over from the Obi-Wan dress that evilbearhunter made hollywdliz
1 pair clean underwear
1 wooden comb
1 crochet hook wallet
assorted packets of antihistamines
1 parking ticket (paid)
1 mini-leatherman
1 smushed granola bar
5 packets of sheet music for SWT:ME (DSAM, Court of Many Creatures, Recycle of Plot, Bespin parts 1 & 2)
6 rack cards for SWT:ME
1 Museum of Science folder containing all my internship info
1 pair circular knitting needles, size 10 1/2
1 RenFaire kerchief
1 baggie of knitress's beaded stitch markers
and lots and lots of paper.

All with all that, my little travel headphones are nowhere to be found. Alas.

I agree with rosiewook - that bag must weigh nearly as much as you do. ; )
