let's go shopping

I did lots of shopping today. I got stuff. It was fun. I still have no new shoes, but! I have a purse. I've been looking; I needed a new one. And I found:

It is pale blue. With PINK TRIM. PINK TRIM, people.





I just-- I don't even. I wear old jeans and sneakers! And baggy hoodies! People are going to think I stole it from some undergrad on campus! THERE IS PINK!

This is why I should not shop alone.

ETA: YAY! I found those adorable wedges that Maria was wearing the other day: clicky me. But the review says they're really narrow, and my feet are wide. Phooey.

Maybe I'm just getting progressively more girly than I used to be (it's all the skaters I hang around--the men, I mean--sorry, sorry, but I had to go there) but I think it's cute. I still haven't bought anything pink, but I have been gravitating towards the light blues.

Besides, cutesy undergrad kinda purse+old jeans and sneakers= urban fusion chic! Just tell them that. Instead of being nuts you can just be ahead of the fashion curve.
