just remember what edward james olmos told us at comic-con.. don't watch it.. it's too dark.

They're running promos on NBC now! Hopefully that gets a few more people headed to SciFi.

It is tough though sometimes, to get people into such a relentlessly dark show. Not everyone likes to have their heart stomped on every week!

it is way better than Lost. Lost is good, but BSG is a cut above.

dan told me about stache-backs and i told whitney.. she thought it was hilarious, and was thinking of other shows with stache-backs -- firefly with wash's stacheback, and sealab 2021 with the all-cast stache-back.

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I love a show that makes you worry about every character. After the killed off Billy, you know just about anyone can go. In the end I probably love that it dares to be different from comfortable predictable television (that's probably why I don't watch much TV). Although I'm sure soon enough BSG will fall into the trap of its own unpredictable predictableness.

Oh, I'm totally with you. I love how dark and gritty and real BSG can be! As long as they know where they're going, and they don't write dumb filler episodes (like Black Market and Scar, the worst one-two punch *ever*).

I also didn't care for Scar and Black Market. Although, I'll watch Black Market over scar just because it's interesting to me that all that seedy stuff started to happen in the fleet. I think Ron Moore really hated black market, but he loved Scar?

I hope that the Kara baby tangent doesn't continue too long. Mommy Starbuck just doesn't ring true to me.

Let's try this un-anonymously now...

I just hope Kara isn't isolated for too long. Part of what makes the show so great, for me, is the way all the different characters interact with each other, so when one of them is separated it feels weird to me. Plus, Kara and Leoben have this incredibly uncomfortable dynamic, and as interesting as it is, I'd prefer if it didn't go on too long.
