A HUGE, GIANT CONGRATULATIONS to my dear friend raykel (and the rest of Arizona) for being the very first to reject a statewide ban on gay marriage and domestic partnerships! With 95.7% of precincts reporting, the proposed amendment is losing 51.5% to 48.5%. Many, many thanks are due to those who ran, organized, and assisted in the campaign against the amendment, including, of course, the amazing raykel! You guys did it! You rock!

Sadly I live next to (and work in) VA, a state which now sucks even harder. Assholesssssss. I had to drive past a sign for a few days that said "Protect Children. Protect Marriage." WTF. Because the marriage of two people you DON'T KNOW somehow hurts your children. I should have torn it down.
