YOU GUYS YOU GUYS LOOKIT! It's ladyamaryllis's *awesome* Harry Potter skit from SDCC Masquerade that I was telling you about! I dare you to watch this and *not* laugh your ass off:
Will have to look when I get home...but I definitely want to look 'cause..well, I missed 'em! :(
And I wanna count how many peeps there were. Figuring out some things, ya know. How many folks can be on that stage at once without killing each other, etc.
Haha, it's funny because no one in our group likes Draco/Hermione either, but we just couldn't come up with a pairing that made sense as Danny/Sandy other than that. I suggested Snape/Hermione but was voted down...probably wisely. xD
There were eight of us. We started out with 14 actually, but it was just too confusing and stuffs O_O We had to mark out the stage size with tape while we were practicing to make sure we wouldn't hit each other. We still did, all the time, of course. The version in the show was definitely our best run through ever, thank goodness! We hadn't made it all the way through without dropping stuff or hitting each other before.
It really was a great program; I'm so happy they won! They totally deserved it. The Hermione/Draco was indeed disturbing, but totally worked for the good girl/bad boy aspect. Definitely the best Draco (and not just "for a girl") that I've seen. The flags were definitely something new, and the choreography was fun and together. Rock!
The most I've ever seen at once was the Disney princes/princesses, which I think was 18 or 20. I guess it depends on how much activity there will actually be on stage?
Oooh! Thanks so much for posting that. Darn, I wish I'd seen it live! Thank goodness for You Tube. I soooo love amaryllis's yule ball dress. I think I've added that to my ever expanding to-do list :)
Wee! You guys rocked. Thank goodness for you tube. Although I know it would have been much more fun to see you guys live I'm glad that somehow I was finally able to see your skit. Your dress looked beautiful on stage! I know you were really stressing over they dyeing of all those ruffles. Congratulations on your win!
Just for the record, if you ever need anyone to twirl brooms, swords, rifles, flags, rakes, or pretty much anything for that matter, I'm yer woman. :-D
