So! Next Saturday! Thrill the World! Worldwide simultaneous Thriller dance to set a world record! WHO'S WITH ME!?

Seriously, y'all, this is super crazy fun. There's almost certainly one near you; here's the list so far. In the US, the Eastern time zone thrills at 8:30 pm, Central at 7:30, Mountain 6:30, and Pacific 5:30, all on Saturday 10/24. (Times for every country are here).

Your local event is likely having rehearsals, or you can learn the dance at home using the *excellent* videos from TTW, here. That's how I learned, and it's actually really really easy. There are eight basic parts to learn, and honestly the hardest thing is remembering what order they go in.

Oh, and you don't have to dress like a zombie. Unless you want to, of course. :D

Yay! I'm glad you're doing it this year! I'll be thinking of you as we simultaneously break the world record!

The awesome part about learning the dance is that it's played so often at random places, you can instantaneously break out in the dance and impress people! :) In fact, some of my friends and I are planning to do it at the Zombie Prom tomorrow night in San Francisco.

Booty bounce! Booty bounce!
