Holy shit, was Glee amazing tonight or what? I don't know how they make every episode better than the last one but I LOVE it.

But you guys, they picked the SYTYCD Top 20 tonight and I have THINGS TO SAY about it!

- BIANCA MADE IT YAY. And THREE tappers; I may die of happy. They always have about a dozen contemporary dancers so I think it's about damn time they had multiple tappers in a season!

- RUSSELLLLLLLLLL. He was a shoo-in from Day 1 (pretty sure the producers saw a Second Coming of Joshua there) but I was still relieved. Rogue's reaction: "Oh, crap. Now I have to watch the show."

- I hope hip-hop redeems itself this season. Last season was pretty sad-ass. But no girls *again.* HIP-HOP LADIES/B-GIRLS, WHERE YOU AT. I WANT ANOTHER SARA.

- I am already irritated with Legacy, Mollee, and that girl who kept squeaking and crying. May they either tone it down or be eliminated swiftly.

- Is it just me, or are there fewer blond-hair-blue-eyes Kherington-types than there've been in prior seasons? Top 20 seems more diverse than before. To which I say, awesome.

- I'm really sad about Paula. I sure as hell hope it's a good part in a good movie. She would've been a really strong contender. I'm happy for Ashleigh though, and Ryan of course. I didn't think much of Ashleigh till the Broadway round where she really stepped it up, so I hope that'll continue.

- Speaking of, helllooooo Ryan. I'm not yet convinced you're a worthy successor to Pasha, but I'm willing to give you a chance.

- I'm sad that ballet dude didn't make it. I want a ballet boy in Top 20. (Alex Wong, get out of your contract and come baaaaaack to us!)

Which one is that chick who's half of the Utah ballroom dance couple? Whoever she is, I predict *Dramah!* from her. She seems like an obnoxious prima donna, which should make for good TV.

There were too many moving parts for me to have any favorites at this point, but I like that kid Nate and the krunk dancer.

I don't watch SYTYCD, but Breanna and I had it on last night for a few minutes as we waited for Glee to come on. They were interviewing this girl (Mollee) and I realized I recognized her -- she was one of the youngest dancers in HSM2 & HSM3. I haven't seen her dance on the show, and I don't know how annoying she's been, but in the backstage HSM stuff she seemed sweet, so I was glad to see her make it.

OOOOOmg I'm so glad you're going to be posting about this show!

I think Russell and Bianca and the Tappers ("Bianca and the Tappers" should be a band name) are going to be my favorites. We won't talk about Legacy. Mollee annoys the HELL out of me, and I'm already ready for that married couple to get off the screen. I just hate her damn face! She's so ridiculously fake! I think she tries to come off as seductive, but it just looks desperate. It would probably help if her husband just came out of the closet.

I'm also stoked for Billy, who was just so beautiful to watch. And Ellenore, whose audition was just too frickin' cute for words. Oh and Pauline!

I think this is the first season I've actually cared about any of the dancers - whether positively or negatively. I can't wait! :D

That makes total sense-- I bet they loved her for the HSMs. She's got exactly the right vibe for it. Now to see if she can go beyond "bouncy cheerful happy dancer"...

YAAAAAAAY I'm glad you like it too! SYTYCD is the bestest.

LOLOL at Ryan coming out of the closet...they did give off a weird sort of desperate vibe in last week's episode. I guess it could've been just editing though? But either way, TMI, yeek.

Poor Billy! That totally sucks that he had to withdraw. But he'll be back next season I'm sure. I hope they work things out for Brandon too. I luff Ellenore to pieces! She better stay on a long time.
