I love L&O: SVU so much. Probably more than is strictly healthy. I ended up watching four episodes yesterday, because I was lazy, and because USA was showing it from 7-10 and then NBC had another ep from 10-11. And I kept recognizing the guest stars. The first ep had Emily from Alias, the second had the guy who played Tank in The Matrix (who incidentally also appeared in an ep of Little House on the Prarie-- thank you, IMDB) and the fourth ep had Jane Seymour. Also in the second ep Stabler called Benson "Liv," which made me happy for no reason at all. I think I just like it when TV characters have nicknames for each other.

And OMG, Rogue is watching the Cubs game downstairs because we get WGN and the Padres aren't on yet, and CHRISTIAN KANE just sang the national anthem! So *that's* what Lindsey did after he left W&H! He didn't do so great on the high notes but otherwise, good job. He reallyreally needs a haircut though.

Meeting with a photographer in an hour and a half. Should probably shower and eat something.

Christian Kane recently showed up on an episode of Las Vegas. ML and I were convinced he was trying to hide out there from the Senior Partners, hoping to just slip in with the people in Vegas unnoticed.

Actually, if you were watching the current season of Angel, you'd know what Lindsay did after leaving W&H. :)

I've tried watching SVU... all that ever happens is that I get depressed. It's one of those things that I'll put on and not really want to watch but then HAVE to know what happens and not be able to look away.

Another SVU addict here. That show has gotten me through so much sewing. When they have that many reruns, you know?

I love that show. Good acting and a really(and sometimes unfortunate) good grip on reality.

Yes, SVU. Our usual watching at night on the weekdays. As said above, it's got a depressingly accurate grip on reality. The blurring of lines between monsters and actual human beings is rather good.

Mmmrm. Lindsey in Vegas. If he can fit in anywhere, it'd be there. *g*

I watched an episode of Las Vegas once, because Ali Sweeney was guest-starring.

Hmmm...but that would involve watching the current season of Angel. You see my dilemma. *g*

Actually, I did watch the most recent ep. "Ciao." "Ciao." "Ciao." Taken as a standalone, with no relevance whatsoever to the show as a whole, and forgetting about the girl in question, I quite liked it for its wacky hijinks and rampant HoYay.

That's how I got into it-- was bored at my hotel on a grad school interview, flipped the TV on, got into the episode, and then I just *had* to find out how it ended. And then I got really sucked in by the cast chemistry and now I watch it when I can-- if TiVo isn't busy recording yet *another* episode of Star Trek. :-P

Seriously. And I don't remember the episodes I've seen well enough to know how they turn out, so I can rewatch pretty easily. :) God bless the USA (Network)!

The acting is totally the best part. The cast just has amazing chemistry with each other, so the show isn't just *all* about the cases, like the original often is-- you actually care about the people, too. And they're all excellent actors, though I admit a special fondness for Mariska Hargitay (girlcrush!) and B.D. Wong.

*nods* After awhile, you do start to think "Geez, what can they come up with next?" but usually it's pretty good (and topical!). My mom says it depresses her too much, but it hasn't bothered me yet.

I'm the same way. Normally, I remember the first 45 min fairly well, but after that? Clueless. Don't quite get why, but it does really work for the rewatching value ;)
