No one wants to do our Minas Tirith cake. The person Missi found asked the San Diego cake club she's a member of and no one wanted to deal with it. They thought it was too big of a project and too expensive.

I have no idea if this helps you at all, Caitlin, but I found a good overall photo of the Minas Tirith model.

I can't believe anyone would think it's 'too big', unless they're just unartistic. The cliff is just sloppily done chocolate frosting (to create rocky look) over cardboard, the sides are those edible print-out sheets (since the pattern is repeated, and you can either use screencaps or trace a pattern and scan it in) and the top will be so small, you could do it simple and no one will care. Screencap printouts pasted on thin cardboard, even.

Personally, it sounds a lot easier than making dozens of small roses, leaves, and whatnot with frosting. :)
