Thanks, everyone, for your lovely comments on my last post. I have pictures! I didn't take any backstage at Masquerade, because my camera doesn't do so well in low light, but our group (sans our Jack and Barbossa) had a fun photoshoot this morning on board the HMS Surprise and the Star of India, both at the Maritime Museum. G4/TechTV is supposed to have coverage of Masquerade on Tuesday 25 July at 7:00PM EDT. Don't know how complete it will be, but ya kinda hope they'd show the winners....

It was so cool! Pretty close to the convention center, too; we were able to take one of their shuttles over so we didn't have to walk.

I ended up being very happy with the shift, even though I used a non-accurate pattern. But those of us with boobs have to make allowances! Silly skeletal Keira Knightley. Thank you!
