I will not let season two kill my love of Dark Angel. I will not let season two kill my love of Dark Angel. But the wangst! And the HAIR! It's really quite dreadful. *clings to season 1 and the hilarious wedding episode*

Yesterday we went to Disneyland! I had never been! It was AWESOME! But very very very hot! But awesome! And going right at opening was totally worth it even if we did have to leave home at 6:30 am, because we were on the second boat of the day for Pirates and thus did not have to stand in the ridiculously long line! Also, SPACE MOUNTAIN OMG.

Today was my last day of gymnastics. I managed a forward roll on the balance beam (with a pad on it) and a front flip on the mini-trampoline. A very exciting day!

Many of my friends made excellent showings at WorldCon this weekend. I wish I could have gone. Congrats to ajmeow, twjudy, and the rest of hcc_cosplay on their Best in Show masquerade victory; to kelbebop, scendan; and the other P3 people on their standing-room-only shows and their Masquerade entry, and colleency and the Lux After Dark folks on their Masq halftime show!

Oh the hair--and the wangst. Yeah, I'm so with you on season 2. And sadly, I just can't see it getting better. But I'll watch--just to see if by a full season of seeing Alec will make me STOP seeing him as Eric. Although I'm really, really annoyed at the whole 'no touching/virus' angst. Arrrrgggg.

Glad you enjoyed Disney, I haven't been in a few years but I loved both Pirates and Space Mountain...would love to go again sometime.

We are currently watching the Halloween episode with the headless body and it is KILLING MY SOUL. How does a show fall this far, this fast? And oh lord, the no-touchy-virus is just obnoxious. Lamest plot contrivance ever to keep a couple apart. Okay, maybe not lamest *ever,* but close. And they're being such freaking babies about it. "Wah wah wahhhhhh, we can't be together, waaaaaaaaah." Shut up, stop whining, and get some goddamn gloves already. Didn't they ever read X-Men?
