I promise, I'm working on the rest of my C3 report. (Yeah, I know, you're all waiting with bated breath.) But in the meantime:

- I'm selling my Tatooine midriff dress on Ebay.

- We watched the SG1 episode "Window of Opportunity" on Monday and it was hi-larious. I get the feeling that's probably as zany as SG1 ever gets, though, and it was about the zaniness level of a regular Farscape episode.

- Also on Monday, [livejournal.com profile] yav_14 was visiting! She and I watched Dan, Rogue, and Debby play on Dan's softball team. It was very entertaining. Then she paid for dinner, but gave us a big bag of minicon stuff to take to Vegas for her. How like a Darksider! *g*

- I really really really want to go soak in a hot tub right now. Owwwwwww.

- And finally, here's my favorite of Steve's pictures:

My three dads:

From left to right, that's my actual father, Bonk as Vader, and Steve as Bail Organa.

Awesome picture - that needs to be framed and hung in your place! Maybe with a caption of, "Who's my daddy?"

zanier still

Oh no, you haven't see the Wormhole Extreme episode yet.

Trust me, SG-1 has a sense of humor about itself, and they show it.

Yes. SG1 does know how to have the fun. You'll just get more and more addicted!

Admit it, you're addicted to my rambling "I don't remember what day this happened, but it definitely happened" sleep-deprived writing. *g*

the dress is doing well! I will be sad to see it go, but I agree things should have a good home .... :)

I'm watching it to see how it ends!

Don't worry, I'm going to make another one. A better one. ("A better one!") With material that flows more like the original. Someday.

Pretty...and I'm scared, because if those measurements are accurate, I could now fit in it--in fact 40" would be too big on my hips (though that place on the thighs, BELOW the hips...stupid thighs. Stupid quads.)

Hm. And if the skirt's just barely long enough for you, it would be just right for me as I'm about 1/4" shorter than you.

However, just dropped a bundle on skates, must control itchy bidding finger of death. (Though do you do comissions? ;) )

Love the picture!

And yes, "Window of Opportunity" is a favorite among fans. You'll learn that SG has the ability to do humor very well, and that one of the show's perks is that it NEVER takes itself too seriously. And yet, I also love that ep SO much because despite all the humor and antics, the last couple of minutes are a real gut-twister.

As for "Wormhole Extreme" that your friend mentioned, it's the classical example of "we don't take ourselves too seriously" - the 100th episode in which the show basically spoofed itself. Hilarious! The episode is about mid-way through season 5, and the Sci-Fi Monday night line-up is currently in season 4, so it won't be too long before it comes 'round.
