serenity screenings

Attention all, there's another round of Serenity screenings on Thursday May 26 at 10 pm, in 20 cities this time. The list is at cantstopthesignal.com. If your city is Fandango and says "check back later," DON'T LISTEN, just go to Fandango and search for the theater itself, then go to the date drop-down box and there should be a Thursday May 26 entry. You want the "special advanced screening" at 10 pm.

There's no SoCal screening but we just got Vegas tickets because we're insane like that. YEEHAH!

ETA: I hear Fandango has been reporting some cities sold out before they actually are, so KEEP CHECKING.

ETA2: Boston people, try Providence!

Most of them seemto have sold out within minutes of going online. Again.

And I'm not about to do another 14 hour trip to Sacramento just to see it a second time... I was really hoping to snag some of the Seattle tickets this time, but apparently they went on sale around 4:30 this morning and were gone not long afterward.

But hey, we still have the midnight showing of ROTS in Vegas to look forward to!

Oh yeah... I was trying Portland over and over instead of getting on the road for home like I should have been. :-p Thankfully, marsterslady was able to get through to buy tickets finally, and snagged two for me and rackham. Yay!!!

This has been a big month for traveling to see movies. First to see "Serenity" in Sacramento last week, then down to Vegas for ROTS, and I'll just get home from that trip and need to turn around and make the drive down to Portland to see "Serenity" again. I'm so glad Rackham is going to get to see it this time, because I was *so* not looking forward to trying not to spill spoilers accidentally in the next five months.

Hey, if you're that close, you should try showing up at the theater that night. From what I hear, at the previous screenings, there were lots of tix available on the day from people standing around outside. Who knows if it'll be the same this time, but it might be worth a shot!
