Booyah! Who just finished the first stage of her very first Jayne hat (and second knitting project ever, after the doll blanket she did at age 9)? Oh, that would be me:



Man walks down the street in a hat like that, you know he's not afraid of anything.

Still need to do the earflaps and make the pompom. But not bad for a day and half's work, when I only learned to knit yesterday! Many, many thanks to Cathy, the nice Browncoat who invited me over last night and patiently walked me through the whole thing. :-D
