I mean! Ronon! With more dialogue than he's had in all last season put together! And then! Grunting in a manly fashion and knifing some Wraith and shooting many, many things! And lots of slo-mo and even some bullet time! So much badass, the show can't even handle it!
And everyone else was really funny, and Teyla did lots of glaring and USED A CONTRACTION OMG, and Lizzie was pretty as always, and who the hell was buzz-cut Marine dude and where was Lorne!? Come back, Lorne!
And was that John, in a *leather Atlantis jacket*? Is this new? Did I just miss it earlier? Hot DAMN.
I think Team Shep could all use a serious cuddle after this episode. Aw, group hug.
In other news, the Dark Angel obsession has reached epic proportions. I am saved only by the fact that there won't be more episodes until Monday night. Desperately need more fic that doesn't suck.

Date: 2006-08-05 12:12 pm (UTC)Now THIS is the kind of emotion we've been needing since the whole biological experimentation thing. They're inter-relating. They're showing that they care for each other. (Shepherd's attempt to express "feelings" was just wonderful.) They're dealing with their past. (Well, Ronon did, at least.)
Okay. Rodney, as always, is hilarious. The morphine scene. The smiley-face boxers (which are about to become even more popular, I'm sure). The fight with Carson over who's going to go out and help.
I really, really loved this episode. And it was shot beautifully! I'm not always into shoot-em-ups, but this was truly stunning. I can understand why they are so proud of this episode!
Still haven't watched SG1, yet. Had a bit of a power issue due to some storms, last night.

It's all too much. I'll have to watch it again. Oh, my life is so hard. *strikes a tragic pose*
