Apr. 6th, 2004 12:20 amI had my first gymnastics class today. It was FUN! I managed a couple of very respectable handstands and cartwheels. My backward rolls are another story. More like backward fish-flops, really. Eeew. And it's so bizarre-- MIT has a better gymnastics facility than UCSD does. No tumble-track at UCSD. I am mightily sad; that was always my favorite part. But on the plus side, there's only 15 kids in the class instead of, oh, 40 or so.
Also, I get to skate again, starting tomorrow! Team Del Sol's Adult team is letting prospective skaters come and skate with the team for free in April, to see if we want to actually try out and join. (And pay.) To quote Ron Stoppable-- "I am ferociously psyched!"
Ballet tomorrow morning at the delightful hour of 8 am. That, I am not so psyched about, but I'll manage. It's good for me.
