Well, the skating's inflicted its own aches and pains on my already unhappy muscles, but it was totally worth it. I had a fabulous time (even if am in a bit over my head) and it sounds like the coach wants to keep me. So come hell or high water, I will be joining this team! Hopefully, if all goes well, the money I make working part-time at the costume shop this summer will pay for my skating for the rest of the year. It depends on how much I'm able to work and how much they pay me. This year the program is "Bohemian Rhapsody." We listened to the music a few times. Should be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too.

The X-Files series finale is on TNT right now. Euuugh. Well, even if the episode was crappy, I have great memories of watching it with friends during JadeCon 2002. (2002, right? Vegas?) There was lots of squealing, lots of yelling, and lots of "awwww"ing. Rather too much "awwww," on rewatching. The shmoop factor is really overwhelming at times. Even the damned music was all sappy! (Mark Snow, you disappoint me.) Oh well. Gotta get the early seasons on DVD...
