People registered at the Browncoats site, go to the AV Room! They have video of us singing Happy Birthday to Joss at the Riverside screening and you can see me a whole bunch! (I'm very easy to spot-- I'm the one in the Zoe costume.) [livejournal.com profile] sirrogue can also be seen and heard offering Joss an extra birthday hat.

Whee! If only I hadn't been holding my stupid purse, I would have looked soooo much cooler...

Cast, date set for 'Jersey Boys' on Broadway

The La Jolla Playhouse hit, again directed by Playhouse head Des McAnuff, will begin previews Oct. 3 at the Virginia Theatre on West 52nd Street. The official opening night is Nov. 6.

The show, which wraps the Four Seasons' real-life story around two dozen of the group's chart-topping songs, broke box office records during the Playhouse run last fall to become the most successful production in the company's history. Extended three times through January, it starred David Narona in the pivotal role of lead singer Frankie Valli.

The Broadway cast will feature a different actor as Valli, John Lloyd Young.

I'm sad that they changed Frankies. I wonder why, since the other three are staying. If you can get your butt to Broadway, go see this show! It's awesome awesome awesome! I'd love to go see it if at all possible...the only time I ever saw it was that first invited dress, because it opened right around the time I got married, and I know they changed stuff.
