I figured out how to use the rolled-hem foot on my sewing machine!!! Yay yay yay!

I'm currently working on the new underskirt for my Arwen chase dress. Wanted to do a rolled him on it; can't use the serger since I only have black and white thread for it. Now I have to figure out if I can wash and dry the dress in a machine... I *should* be able to, since I've washed/dried all the fabrics before, I just don't want to screw up the embroidery or have the dryer heat damage the faux suede. The dress *really* needs a bath, though.

you can cold-wash almost anything on the planet, especially if it doesn't have odd interfacing. If you're concerned about the dryer, just lay it flat or hang it. (but you knew that :) )

if you just want to air it out, the theatre has been using cheap vodka in a spraybottle since long before the advent of Febreeze.....
