Guess what our awesome new-old Tivo (best present evar, thanks, Tanis and Chad!) taped for me? Once More, With Feeling! I think it's a little bit scary that I could tell pretty much every single cut they made to fit it in an hour slot. Shout-out to all my fellow Caritas Players! I can't believe that was almost four years ago. :(

Unrelatedly, I really need an icon of Martin Sheen looking cranky from West Wing that says "Oh, Abigail, Abigail, I have such a desire to knock heads together."

A friend introduced me to 1776 when we were around 6th grade, and I love it so much, partly for nostalgia I guess. My husband and I watch it every 4th of July, but I've seen it so many times, I can pretty much do at least the first 1/3 of it from memory. I love John Adams, both historically and as William Daniels. :-)

Plus I think William Daniels looked a lot like the younger John Adams:

Tivo loves me! It told me I should watch Friday Night Lights, and it was right. Men in Trees, I'm a little iffier on. And when it tapes the bad SciFi movies of the week-- well. But mostly it picks excellent things!
