there be dragons in the atl!

We are safely returned from Dragon*Con (got in last night), and we appear to have brought the ATL weather with us. It's absolutely miserable here. Supposed to go back to normal in the next few days, though, and the sooner the better. We do just fine with no A/C most of the year, but there's always a few days where we really, really wish we had it.

And oh yeah-- DRAGON*CON WAS SO AWESOME!!! I haven't had that much pure fun in a long time. Sure, okay, it was crowded, and NEVER AGAIN STAYING AT THE HYATT, and there were some frustrations, but overall it was a great, great time. I got to see lots of my friends again, and meet *so* many people who'd been only names and pretty pictures for years, and they were all even more awesome and amazing in person. And I met lots of totally new people too, including a couple who live here in San Diego! Yay new local costuming friends! I'll have a longer report in a couple days-- hopefully I can hang onto everything in my memory for at least that long! I know I'm already forgetting things. We took a lot of pictures that sirrogue will probably be posting soon.

OH HOLY CRAP. You did not bring the miserable Hotlanta weather with you. We've been sweltering all weekend, just waiting for you guys to get home. I swear, I thought I was going to melt by Sunday...it was like, OMG I can't bear to put on a bra hot. It hasn't even been cooling off at night up here. BOO.
