And I KNOW! Serious Aang in the cartoon is so effective because most of the time he's so happy and joyful. When he's serious all the time...not so much.

I'm just now getting into the series (gotta love Summer Vacation)...and was really looking forward to the film. But, I think that just said it all. (And Yeah...what happened to my happy little guy? THAT"S the Aang I want to see!!!)

Eh. I'm so friggin' sick of the wangst. It'll be good or it'll blow. Either way, we won't know until the movie comes out. I mean, I've noticed that Aang is serious all time time in what we've seen, too, but what we've seen is all of ONE trailer and a handful of pictures. Wait for the movie before you decide if they got his character right or not.
