Ugh. Any shred of decent TV that might have been left in the X-Files is long, long gone. That episode just...well, it sucked, really. I have no idea how the actors got through the final scene with straight faces. Honestly, I kept expecting to hear, "The needs...of the many...outweight...the needs...of the few." When Langley said "Never give up," I yelled back "Never surrender!"

CHRIS CARTER, YOU SUCK!

And despite all this, I'm *still* going to watch the series finale. Sucker.
