Also, you guys, I have lost days of my life to TVTropes. (Warning: site is addictive. Use caution when clicking.) Every single time I go, I end up stuck there for hours. Look, there's a whole page about the ridiculous number of characters named Jack, which I kept meaning to do and now I don't have to! And I think the Portmanteau Couple Names page is making me ship people solely because their PCM is hilarious. (Foreteen! *dies*) They include XFiles in there though, and I have *never* seen anything but MSR used for Mulder and Scully. Is this a new thing? Damn these kids today...

Ugh. Any shred of decent TV that might have been left in the X-Files is long, long gone. That episode just...well, it sucked, really. I have no idea how the actors got through the final scene with straight faces. Honestly, I kept expecting to hear, "The needs...of the many...outweight...the needs...of the few." When Langley said "Never give up," I yelled back "Never surrender!"

CHRIS CARTER, YOU SUCK!

And despite all this, I'm *still* going to watch the series finale. Sucker.

So it occurs to me that if I do watch X-Files in 15 minutes, it'll be the first time I've watched TV since Episode II was everywhere. Ugh. Being spoiler-free sucks. Maybe I can just leave the room during commercials.

And when XF is over, I absolutely have to go into lab and finish our slide presentation for tomorrow's class. No excuses.

Saw Champions on Ice yesterday. It was amazing. I've never seen Michelle live before. Even from the nosebleed seats, she was beautiful. Sarah and Tara, keep your gold medals. She doesn't need them to be a legend.

And we closed Tomfoolery last night. All hail the Boston Globe and their calendar section; we made a ridiculous amount of money on the show.

Saggy tells me I should watch X-Files tonight. Perhaps I will-- it's only been what, four years?
