Mmmmmmmmmm
Aug. 24th, 2002 03:41 pmGrilled cheese is rapidly becoming a staple of my diet. Probably will stay that will till either the bread, cheese, or margarine runs out. We have supplies for a PBJ, but the bread's frozen. Wonder what a grilled PBJ would taste like. No, it doesn't bear thinking about.
Fantastic time at Steve and ML's party last night. Pretty yummy food (though I'm not crazy about Cambodian), good white wine that the nice waitress kept refilling without me even asking, and *great* company. Plans for an MTG version of the Buffy musical are well underway (I get to be Anya! Woooohoooo!), and Kimmerie is back in Boston and eager to help with makeup and prosthetics for the Musical (thank you God!). I just really had a great time talking with everyone. We should do more MTG parties. Well, more parties where we haven't been striking the set all night and all we want to do is go home and sleep. Rogue and I left about ten, ten-thirty-ish, time enough to get last week's Farscape tape from Mike and Steph and watch it before seeing this week's Farscape. Apparently the party continued for quite awhile after we left with much more alcohol consumed. Part of me wishes I'd been there to see it, and part of me's glad I wasn't. :)
Speaking of Farscape, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Stupid Farscape PTB, incorporating fricking FIVE-MONTH hiatuses into their seasons. Ugh ugh ugh. Hate me some cliffhangers. At least NewJenn is sending us the first 40 or so eps of the show. That'll keep us occupied for awhile. And there's always fanfic and messageboards, but I want to hold off on those till I've watched more eps, formed my own opinions.
The move to the boys' new apartment is going pretty well. We've gotten a fair amount of stuff over there, but quite a bit still remains. My dad's here now, though, so hopefully we can use his van to move the bigger stuff without having to strap them to the top of Todders' car.
Everyone's off at put-in. I really ought to be working on the Results section of my paper. Instead, I'm sitting here writing while rewatching the Farscape 3rd season premiere. To quote Jen, I am an addict and I need help.
