Jul. 1st, 2003 11:42 pmI got all wedding-buggy again walking through Michael's today. Currently trying to scare up ideas for neat, fun favors that people will keep/enjoy. They must be appropriately geeky. Suggestions?
Also, thank heaven, Mom agrees that we must have real flowers at the wedding. I'm well aware of how practical, cost-saving, time-saving, stress-saving, etc, fake flowers are, but dammit, I want real flowers.
Oooog. Am on the mend and able to eat semisolid food now, with the consequence that I ate way too much for dinner. Oooooog. Very full, tummy hurty. But mac 'n cheese was sooo good. Oooooog.

Date: 2003-07-01 10:54 pm (UTC)At my own wedding? We had centerpiece candle arrangements that pulled apart into individual candle holders- I got them at Things Remembered, some eleven years back, but they were v. pretty and everyone who had a chair, had a candle to take home, with some flowers attached.
And let me be the voice of Fake Flowers- When the day is done, you'll remember it in a blur. But if you have fake flowers, you can incorporate them into your home decor and get a warm fuzzy feeling every time you go past them. (Of course, I'm getting divorced, so every time I go past the rose display in my mother's guest room, I get queasy, but that's neither here nor there!)
Glad you're feeling better. Remind me sometime to tell you my wisdom teeth horror story. It's a doozy.

I will be more than glad to hear it. I'm *so* tired of everyone saying, "Well, they told me it would be bad, but I recovered really quickly!" Yeah, well screw you all! They told me it would be bad, and it *was* bad! :-P
