Jul. 1st, 2003 11:42 pmI got all wedding-buggy again walking through Michael's today. Currently trying to scare up ideas for neat, fun favors that people will keep/enjoy. They must be appropriately geeky. Suggestions?
Also, thank heaven, Mom agrees that we must have real flowers at the wedding. I'm well aware of how practical, cost-saving, time-saving, stress-saving, etc, fake flowers are, but dammit, I want real flowers.
Oooog. Am on the mend and able to eat semisolid food now, with the consequence that I ate way too much for dinner. Oooooog. Very full, tummy hurty. But mac 'n cheese was sooo good. Oooooog.

Date: 2003-07-02 09:30 am (UTC)Something I was thinking of was getting little LED light keychains with some sort of artwork incorporated from the wedding or your intials with the date, or a favorite saying. You can get them as cheap as 1.50 a piece, plus a small set up fee for a minimum order of 100-150.
You know, lights - lightsabers-- a bit of an in-joke and homage to how your lives crossed paths to begin with. :)
If you have any ideas on what kinds of things at the reception- are you really going all out for it (costume theme? Theater geek/Science geek?) or just want traditional with touches of geekiness?
Why do I have a feeling your costume seminar could also turn into brainstorming for your wedding. ;)
