Tried my hand at making homemade soup today, using the turkey stock and some of the leftover turkey. It didn't turn out half-bad, although it was rather on the bland side. But pretty good for my first try, and without a recipe!

My costuming 'business cards' arrived today. They're pretty! So I have them in plenty of time for both GenConSoCal and Trilogy Tuesday. Yay!

I caught an Angel rerun this afternoon, S2, "Disharmony." One I hadn't seen before. It reminded me of how desperately I miss Cordy, and how Angel is such a different show these days. It also sent me on a mad hunt for an A/C fic fix, which I found with relatively little trouble.

Geez it's cold. Maybe another mug of hot chocolate?

Funny - I saw an old Angel rerun on Saturday, on a station I've never been able to get before. I haven't watched very many eps from the first couple of seasons, and I don't know which is which, but this was the one where Doyle died. They all looked so much younger then...

It's cold here, too. Brrrrrr.

Oooh - don't suppose you can get close enough to Camp Pendleton to take a picture of the sign? Or do they have postcards? I was born there, and ended up moving out on my own before the vacation where my parents were going to take us there. Sigh.

That's early S1. Super early, like 9th episode or so. They did look much younger. Especially David Boreanaz, who's not *supposed* to look younger.

I think there's probably a sign for Camp Pendleton as we drive up the 5, but we usually only go that far north if we're heading for LA.
