Visited the La Jolla Sea Lodge today as a possible wedding site. We liked it a lot, but their "wedding packet" contained no information about how much it actually costs to have a wedding there-- it just gave prices for their catering. Thus, more investigation is in order. Have handed off this particular hotel to Rogue, since he really seemed to like it. We were going to have a looksee at the Handlery too, but they actually *charge* you to park there, lousy bastards. I have an appointment to see the place on Tuesday, so I guess I'll cough up the $2 then, but it seemed silly to pay it twice.
And so it goes. I have one midterm Tuesday and another Wednesday. Waaaaah.

Date: 2004-02-09 12:49 pm (UTC)Yes, definitely more expensive, but that is due to the Sea Lodge being RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Literally. Also, there are other hotels in La Jolla Shores, easily walking distance from the Sea Lodge, which are cheaper and at which we can most probably block rooms.
