too funny not to share
Jun. 25th, 2003 04:22 pmI'm at home in Maryland for a week and half, both to pack up all my old stuff in my room, and to have my wisdom teeth out. Poking around in my room today I came across one of my old diaries. After finding the key (quite a feat, given that the last time I wrote in this particular diary was 1993), I read the half-a-dozen entries inside (I wasn't much for keeping regular diaries), and found this gem:
March 23, 1991
Dear Diary,
It's Saturday, and I haven't found a thing to do! Actually, I'm in my room because I can't find any pants to wear. Honestly, this is so unfair because there aren't any pants in my room, and Mom says I can't come out till I have some pants on. And that could mean a really long wait for me.
Ah, the trials and tribulations of a nine-year-old. I wonder if someone eventually brought me pants.
